I had a monster removed

......And so, the majestic Kaitlynn was pushed from her ward to the operating theater at around 12pm the other day. Covered with blanket as the back of her purple surgery gown was very revealing. Sexy back and an ugly butt crack view if she would need to walk herself all the way from 6th floor to the 2nd floor.

Near the entrance, her mother and brother were asked to not maneuver beyond the red line. Kaitlynn was like "where is the red line?". So, she sat up and looked around the floor. She saw the red line. After her mother and brother were escorted out the room, she was pushed to a side which resembles a parking lot, but it was for hospital beds. From there she lied down, cold, lonely a little excited, as well as scared, she saw the red line near the doors. It was a box, apparently. Then she realised that she didn't have to sit to see the red line.

A few minutes before being pushed into the OT, she was given a cap to tuck in all her hair. Not long after, she saw a huge man, with orange framed glasses walking to the counter then steadily approaching her. Oh, it was her doctor. "How are you feeling?" the doctor asked. She said she was fine, but she lied.

Pushed into the OT, and she say a breath taking view of the busy street in a part of Star Hill. She moved herself from her bed to the other platform. It had an orange ring which resembles night market sold chiffon cakes, that was the ring that her head was supposed to be placed on. So she scooted up and "whoa, the platform was cold" she thought. The next thing she knew, the orange blinds closed the windows, one by one, and the OT was like in the drama set that we see on the screen.

I think I had laparotomy, cystecomy and one more that I have forgotten about. I think it was for removing the whole reproductive system. Hmm.....

That was a story that happened like one week and a half ago. I'm currently in week two of recovery. This was my first time being hospitalised. Apparently it isn't as fun as it seemed to be. The once majestic Prince Court Medical Centre that I once wanted to explore around wasn't so majestic anymore. Still breathtaking though.

My doctor also told me that he would put me on oral contraceptives. He says that would let my only ovary left (left ovary) rest.

我回来了

在医院睡了好几晚
好像是。。。。。。4 晚
二,三,四,五,六
对,4 晚

不知道怎样讲
身在福中不知福?

上星期三我和妈咪去做身体检查
照ultrasound时,
一个白白的圆圈,
里面黑黑的,然后一条一条短短的白线
和医生谈时,建议我照CT
说可能是卵巢瘤

晚上回家
妈咪比我还紧张,
打开电脑
查哪家医院MRI最多slice——同善
然后再看prince court 有什么医生
最后还是去了prince court

看了医生,
马上安排下星期三开刀
于是我也很淡定地跟诸位教授说出我状况
延迟我交作业的期限
另外再做安排让我好能够完成语文考试

成功啦
什么都星期一
因为星期二中午就要入院了

呵~
我跟你说,
MRI很吵的捏~
一直咚咚咚,咚咚咚……
怪不得爸爸要吃安眠药
被推进去的那刻还蛮好玩的
仿佛在游乐场

接下来,
复诊咯
很无聊。。。唉
之前弟弟也是整天复诊
><
下个appointment是29号

吃方面的确要戒口
听一半不听一半 =P
其实还好啦,
这几天都是在家
还没有面对到诱惑

听说我不能走动太多,所以
我的台北之旅,延迟一年T^T

一个字——顶

十二月了
一年就这样。。。。。。 唉
什么贡献都没给

我一月六日
两点之前有2个essay要交
在那之前,9.30早上。。。。。考韩语
隔天同样时间,同样地点。。。考日语

天天被英语,华语,韩语,日语环绕
我忘了我的志愿是什么
我忘了我以后要做什么
若你现在问我
大学毕业后要干嘛
我。。。。还真的答不出

为了圣诞节
为了有时间温习日韩语考试
我决定
今天开始。。。。写essay



无聊~ 无聊~
有时候我很想问为什么我的科系的Essay那么。。。
令人又爱又恨
对,是有发表空间
可是。。发表完了,
又会多出一些疑问
最后,怀疑回自己

耐心●恒心

我最近发现
我好像很多事情都3分钟热度
没有坚持下去

从芭蕾舞蹈到音乐
钢琴,电子琴,吉他,ukulele,笛子,harmonica
全部半桶水
会是会,就是没有一个pro

之前有裁缝
缝拉链铅笔盒,小玩偶
然后玩水钻
买手机壳来粘水钻上去
除了手机壳还有玩头饰

后来玩了一次的珠子
把他们串成一个电话雕饰

手艺是有啦
可是都不pro
令我困扰的是
我到底兴趣在哪里
以后要干什么

部落格又不是常常上来写。。。。。
呜呜。。。。。

我好像都只喜欢学新东西
坚持一样?
呃。。。。。
过一阵子就觉得无聊
没新鲜感,算了吧

@槟城 4天3夜 part 1

我国,大马本来就著名美食天堂
7月去了怡保站
8月来到了槟城

我从甲洞先上到怡保
在男朋友家那里住宿一晚再出发去槟城











由于我们搭的是早上的巴士
所以,早餐少不了
我想吃烤面包,半生熟蛋,加上一杯怡保咖啡










得偿所愿了^^
开心开心

到了槟城,我们要上ferry
很奇怪,只收硬币的?
而且收费只是去槟岛而已
回来没有收费的




















到了人生地不熟的槟岛,
不知道要怎么去我们的民宿
便拖着行李箱慢慢沿着Chulia Street走
一面走就一面拍一路上见到的壁画和铁丝们




















也因为走路,所以才尝试到脆脆的蚝煎
听说槟城的蚝煎是湿的
可是却让我遇到脆的
当时不知道是太饿了还是什么
好好吃哦




















吃光光了

离开家里,出去走走 —— 离家出走

这一回,
我去了怡保,我男朋友家乡

之前五六月时,
我们一起去了马六甲
我家乡
常常他跟我说没去过马六甲
要去见识见识下
去了我那边,
接下来就是去他家了

怡保,这个地方
我市即熟悉也陌生
之前我们家上金马伦高原之前
怡保是必经之路







我那时是没那么喜欢这个地方
所以都蛮抗拒去接触
可是由于我男朋友家在那,
逼于无奈,
也该看看,
开始适应,接受下

据我所知,
怡保风景美
四周被山水包围
什么洞什么洞都聚集在那里
除了马六甲,怡保也是一个美食天堂
以前都是盐炬鸡,猪肠粉,芽菜鸡,鸡丝河粉
我认识的就这么多
是有点腻
因为我多数吃的时候都是打包回来的

这一次去怡保,
虽然第一餐依然是芽菜鸡,河粉
没什么新鲜感
可是幸亏隔天就是不同的了
客家面,除了云吞面,客家面是我最爱
由于我胃口没那么好
有点吃不出心情
(对不起宝贝)

吃完早餐后,
我们两个黄毛小子
便开车到Kellie’s Castle
闹鬼的
很不喜欢哪个地方,
却很想去
去到了
第一反应——很壮观
很美很美
胆小的我,呵呵
那里都不敢走
打死都拉着我男朋友不让他离开我身边
他那个人还想走完的呢
我?
算了吧
太阳还那么猛
撑着伞的我,一直闹要离开

就在我们要离开的时候,
才知道,原来要付入场费的
我们避开了
><
坏呃~
看完了后,我们再继续开车到“铁船”
那是採锡矿的仪器
生锈了的,不能再发动
所以也变成了旅游景点
可惜的是,
我们到了,门没开
正在装潢的说

无所谓啦,
反正他家在那,我一定还会回去的
到时再去也不难
“铁船”上不成
我们也就离开了那里
去找大头虾
哈哈

如果没记错的话,
我们是去了联芳
一公斤的中虾
只有区区的6
好贵吃哦
是我的话,肯定不舍得
大头虾很新鲜,很大只,很甜
怡保的水还真的是非一般的水
养出来的虾肥美过人
种出的芽菜也肥肥的
喝怡保水长大的女生们都水水的
所谓怡保出产美女多嘛
神奇水
哈哈

吃完了,我也累了
我不想走太多
所以就叫他带我去aeon走走
去看戏,22 jump street
走街,买东西

花了将近300马币的钱在那里
有点小心疼
**

晚上,
我闹着要去糖水街
我不想吃正餐
怎么知道,
原来糖水街不是我想象中那样
一档两档不是粉就是粉
糖水是有,可是,我见得不多

我不明白,
为什么怡保的食物多数都是吃了都很饱的?
或许我那时真的是没有胃口
所以很快就饱了
要不然就是,
离开家里久了,
家常小菜吃少了,
外面的味精食物令我有些许反胃

由于我本身没那么喜欢咖啡,
我们两个又不恋酒
所以晚上,还真的没什么做
其实,去之间,我上网查过了
怡保城属于早上的kaki
早餐店很多
有一条街叫“点心街”
听说,对面就是“死人街”
旁边是诊所“专科街”
怡保旧街场的街名都好可爱
不去还真的不知道

隔天早上,
他的爸爸妈妈带了我去福山吃点心
本来是没有很期待
我也不想吃到饱
所以最后,我们两个人一人一半
什么都一半
呵呵
可是依然吃到很够力饱
不想坐了,便出去走走

他父母不知为何,
很爱《拍照》
就是,叫我们拍照
我当时没怎么想拍
为了意思意思
在门口自拍一张
有点无聊

会不会是因为妈妈整天都拍?
搞到我不需要拍?
结果就不恋拍?
不知道?

吃完了,
我们便开车到“椰壳”洞, gua tempurung
去看limestone
我想看很久了
里面的确壮观
可是由于3个星期没下雨
里面没什么水了
什么小溪都流干了
很可惜
所谓的“冷气房”也没什么风能吹
只能说,来得不是时候
以后再跟一大班人进去探索有水的路

走完了,
累了
是时候搭火车回去市中心
因为隔天有工作
所以。。。。呜呜~~

接下来,

下个月我们去槟城!!

想家了

去年一直很想做的事

今年终于实现了
那就是
离乡背井,
出去外面住
。。。。打工

可是
现在,
我想家
我想回家
什么都不做
可是又不行
为了台湾之旅,
要存钱
去年的都花光了
我也不想的
一时把持不住
这边丢,那边丢的

今年,比去年多了200块的工资
可是却做得没那么开心
虽然说
我是打份工
找个地方过日子
可是
我想在自己的床睡

在外头,
为了省钱,
和别人共床(暖枕)
拥挤是一回事
我平日不爱开冷气睡,因为我会呼吸困难
在家只开风扇睡,而且还是最低的风力
如今却遇上了一个爱在冷冷的房间里
而还把被子盖得紧紧的roommate

我开始领悟brett 和 tim的经验了
Brett是英国人民,Tim是大马人民
两个来自地球两端的人睡在同一间房
Tim就如我的roommate
开冷气,却把自己包被子里
Brett就问他,与其这么辛苦,
为何不关冷气,别盖被
那竟不是更舒适
呃。。。。。。
我还蛮赞同brett的观念
而且还能节省电源消费
何乐而不为呢?

每天我就处于一个不知该如何的状况
我会比我roommate来得早到家
来得早睡
趁还有知觉的时候不开冷气
直接睡
狼狈的生活,
很难受
所以我尽量的就在这儿少睡
怎么累,怎么塞车都要回家睡
就为了那么丁点的钱
很劳累耶

这个社会,
我不爽它
因为没钱,没快乐
什么都需要消费
消费金钱,消费力气,消费时间
我们都累了
放过我们吧

耕田的日子应该更有满足感吧
时间过的充实
人生的需求不多
不会奢想那么多
梦,就是嫁个郎君,
生几胎,把他们养育成人
然后又在继续这个循环
幸福 d(^_^o)

时间

我回来了
其实也没有。。。。。嘻嘻

最近实在太大压力了
4月28号那个星期简直就是拿了我的命
9个assessments in a row
光是presentation 就是我所拿的科目聚在一起的疯狂时期
还有,韩语和日语的听试口试都在这里

上个星期,
3个assessments:
2个coursework essay 1个written exam
而且让人逼疯的媒体coursework due 期既然跟written exam 撞日

唉!
终于松一口气了
这个星期蛮轻松自在的
这个会延续到下星期五 (的前几天)
又来coursework due date和考试撞日
变态!

因为我犯贱
所以2号后我还要考日文
其实不必拿的
可是就是要证明给自己看
要不然。。。。我2号考完后可以开香槟庆祝了

曾经一时是很好的闺蜜一个

第一句就说她没有预料我的出现
我也是,说真的
而且当时要回家了
没有谈到几句我就要走了

走着走着
她问我,是不是看开了
是的
早就看开了
都不是她的错
只是我想得太多
想象力丰富也未必是件好事

想当年,
我是多么的天真
幼稚更不需要说
唉~算了,都过了

现在
赚回一份友谊
有什么不好的

Macaron

Recently there has been much craze for macarons. Mum actually bought me a new convection oven to bake them. Although I already have an oven in the first place, I'll explain later why new. So far, I've only been using Ochikeron's Panda Macarons recipe for all of my macarons. Each batch is made with a little alternation done to the recipe for the colouring and flavouring. Ever since I started using the new oven for my macarons, they had all came out awesome, not to mention - with feet. Skirts were developed very recently on my chocolate macarons. I have no idea if it was due to the humid that was trapped by the cocoa powder or I mixed it to the perfect consistency or because I added the sugar twice instead of three times for the meringue. No idea. 


And so, this time, I added liquid food colouring to my meringue for the macarons. Many suggested that liquid food colouring isn't an option because of how macarons hated the moisture. It turned out well, I guess it was a taboo then. I think I added a little too much food colouring that the colour turned out too pretty. Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate flavoured ganache. I made them with my own experimental recipe. Came out nice, so.... hell yeah!

Mum loved the macarons I made. She even said that mine was actually better than the famous Ladurée. Whoa. Big compliment I just received. Still stunt until today. What more can I ask anyways.


Of course, macarons to perfection doesn't always come from the first try. It was after I started using the new oven that it all came our pretty. The beginning of my macaron diaries looked like this.

First attempt with Nutella
They were all UNDERCOOKED. Even after baking for 30 minutes. This happened, and that's all. No, there was one which started to develop feet. But I wasn't patient enough. Thus, the end. To prove that they were undercooked, I ate one of the macarons after 3 days (which was supposed to be still edible). Gosh, it gave me a tingle on my tongue. A little fizzy.

With the undercooked macarons filled with nutella, my brother suggested that I bring some back to Malacca for my paternal side of the family. It was Chirstmas. That side of my family weren't fond of sweets. So, my macarons didn't receive a very good review from them. Whereas my brother and mum liked the undercooked ones because they were chewy, literally. After my macarons came to perfection, my brother didn't seem to enjoy it that much. Not going back to undercooked ones.

My journey left the jar of Nutella untouched. I bought a second 'Tupperware' of cream cheese SPREAD. In the beginning, when I didn't realise that it was spread, I bought it. When I saw the word spread, I freaked out. Couldn't find any ganache recipes that used cream cheese spread. No choice but to experiment. It turned out well though. Oh well. I guess there aren't much difference taste-wise.

Macaron Recipe :

60g Almond flour
80g Icing sugar
55g Egg whites (two B grade eggs)
50g Granulated sugar



Cream Cheese Ganache Recipe :

15g Unsalted butter
10g Sugar
40g Cream cheese (mine was spread)

1. Cream the butter with sugar.
2. Add cream cheese and whisk until the sugar has dissolved.

Varieties:
1/2 teaspoon of cocoa powder
1 drop of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of strawberry black tea by Lipton

The amount of ganache may not be much, but it is just nice for the amount of macarons made using Ochikeron's recipe. In her recipe, it's meant for 10 large macarons. I managed to make 18 ± 2 medium macarons. I still keep the batter slightly undermixed and the macarons slightly overcooked. Make note that the reverse of it is irreversible

I hit my tray of macarons more that 3 times each side to make them flatter, since it is slightly undermixed. Because of that, if they every stick to each other, I can always pipe them again. Overcooked macarons can be reversed after maturing the macarons with ganache overnight. The osmosis process takes over during the wait. Since my home, Malaysia, is hot and humid, I make my macarons in an air conditioned room. This is to keep my environment dry and cool. Trying to imitate France. *giggles*

今天,出去走走
放松心情
因为,9号,即将要考心理科

打算明天和后天都呆在家
练习写作文
因为要cite,
所以写的时候不能乱篇
要有根据的
是第一次这么回答考题
所以有那么点紧张
人,凡是都是要有第一次
全力以赴,做好本分!
